Rating: 9/10
This is one of my favorite B movies. It’s gory, it’s comedic, it’s creepy…just a perfect blend. The best way to describe this film is that it’s a 1980’s version of Frankenstein with more blood and more than one monster. Jeffrey Combs does a great job of playing the creepy guy, and his cheesy one liners are sure to make you laugh. For it being an 80’s film, the effects aren’t bad at all, and the gore is superb. The only reason I didn’t give it a 10 is because I thought it deserved a better ending. Nevertheless, watch this movie and you’ll be laughing and cringing all the way through it.

Do know what’s really scary? You want to forget something. Totally wipe it off your mind. But you never can. It can’t go away, you see. And… and it follows you around like a ghost.

Curious about the fabulous HOMO hat Nicky Da B wore in our video for Go Loko? Here’s a little bit about the history/meaning.

“And as we sat there listening to the carolers, I wanted to tell Brian it was over now and everything would be okay. But that was a lie. Plus, I couldn’t speak anyway. I wish there was some way for us to go back and undo the past. But there wasn’t. There was nothing we could do. So I just stayed silent and tried to telepathically communicate how sorry I was about what had happened. And I thought of all the grief and sadness and fucked up suffering in the world… and it made me want to escape. I wish with all my heart that we could just leave this world behind. Rise like two angels in the night and magically disappear.”
